Former friends of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have both spoken out about numerous aspects of the couple: what their friendship was like, who they are now, their early dating years, and now, one of them is talking about how much Harry has changed since marrying Meghan.

Former rugby player James Haskell talked on stage for a podcast, per GBNews, and discussed how much Harry has changed, specifically how his personality has changed. Despite defending them over the years, Haskell decided to take a jab.

He started by talking about how he first met Harry in 2011 during Mike and Zara Tindall’s wedding. “Who should be there, wandering around having a good time, but Prince Harry. He hadn’t met her [Meghan] yet, so he was still quite fun.” Many have dubbed that he insinuated that Harry became less fun after.

But to be fair, is anyone the same person at the age of 27 versus 34 years of age? Probably not.

“Everybody’s entitled to an opportunity to say what they want, and when someone feels like they and their partner have been oppressed, lied about, contradicted, and put into a corner. I think it’s very important,” he said.

As many loyal royal fans know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and were later married in 2018. They share two children together named Archie, born in May 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.

On Friday, former First Lady Melania Trump spoke at a citizenship ceremony in Florida after receiving an invite from the National Archives — a move that raised eyebrows amongst Donald Trump supporters. However, it’s not her husband who is criticizing her public speaking event, it’s her former BFF, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. 

Wolkoff, the author of Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady, appeared on CNN to give her reaction to Melania’s speech, and it was just as dramatic as you would expect. Calling Melania’s words “to be lacking of any real meaning,” the former senior adviser claimed that her frenemy was “really deceptive, almost deceitful.” Wolkoff explained, via Mediaite, “And it’s unfortunate because she had an opportunity as the first lady of the United States to make a difference, and she didn’t at all.”

Her disdain for the work Melania did as first lady hinges on the fact that she was “the second first lady of the United States of America to ever be an immigrant,” and “had the opportunity to make such a difference in the lives of so many.” Wolkoff then dragged Donald Trump into the conservation as well, noting, “I mean, it was the American dream, and to squander that opportunity, to show up today, to try and make a difference in something that her husband is so against, which is immigration, as we all know, really is meaningless.” She believes that Melania is “complicit” and “his partner in crime” when it comes to anti-immigration policies. 

Melania’s rare public appearance offered her the opportunity to show a softer side and share her “personal experience of traversing the challenges of the immigration process.” The Slovenian-born former first lady leaned into the “harsh realities” immigrants face while trying to obtain citizenship in the U.S. Melania became a citizen in 2006 after obtaining an EB-1, aka an “Einstein Visa,” for “individuals with extraordinary ability.” As a model, many have questioned whether she qualified for the visa and whether her relatively easy path to citizenship was strictly because of her Donald Trump association.

While 2023 started with the royal rift between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry versus the rest of the British royal family was at an all-time high, new reports show that they all may be making amends soon. In fact, insiders are claiming that King Charles wants this rift to be resolved once and for all, and has enlisted the help of Catherine, Princess of Wales (more commonly referred to as Kate Middleton), to be the “peacemaker.”

Royal insiders spilled the deets to InTouch Weekly, saying that “Shortly after the book [Endgame]’s allegations came out, Kate reached out to Meghan to clear the air.” However, this phone call was actually at the request of Charles. “This feud has gotten so unseemly and out of hand, it’s starting to overshadow his reign and the entire monarchy. He wants to heal the rift once and for all.”

And because many of the British royal family has refused to speak to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, “Charles forced Kate to become his peacemaker.”

Now, this isn’t the first time Kate has had to put her own feelings aside to be the “peacemaker.” Back in 2022, she was enlisted again to help mend Prince William and Harry’s brotherly feud ahead of William’s birthday, and then again, with the new core four in early 2023.

In the biography, Camilla, royal author Angela Levin claimed back in March 2023 that Kate became the “peacemaker” by easing tensions with William and Charles, along with making an effort to be buddies with Queen Camilla.

It seems as though we’re getting deja vu because, like Ivanka Trump’s father Donald Trump, and his frequently absent wife, Melania Trump, many have inquired the same exact thoughts when it comes to Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner.

After Ivanka was seen gallivanting with A-listers on Dec 13 at the opening of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, many noticed Kushner was absent yet again.

This isn’t the first time people have noticed his absence in the past few months of Ivanka’s appearances. Amid her alleged comeback into the socialite world, she was seen at the Las Vegas opening of Fontainebleau, Kim Kardashian’s birthday bash, and more — all of which Kushner hasn’t been with her. Along with that, he didn’t join her when she went to NYC to testify for Donald’s fraud trial.

Now, where is Kushner amid Ivanka’s socialite comeback? It’s simple: he’s presumably with their three kids, per OK. And he’s presumably been with them amid her testimony and going to her buddy Kardashian’s party. It hasn’t been confirmed, but that is the general consensus.

This checks out, considering they have brushed elbows with A-listers at different parties, such as country music festivals and Art Basel in Miami Beach.

Time to rewind to the controversial year that is 2016. when Hillary Clinton was running for US President, it was known that her husband, former US President Bill Clinton was along for the ride. However, a new bombshell book alleged that there may have been issues in their relationship during that time, and it mainly consisted of Bill talking smack about his wife’s campaign.

Ryan Grim’s new bombshell book The Squad: AOC and the Hope of a Political Revolution claimed Hillary’s husband Bill roasted her campaign.

“To the extent that the campaign tactic moved the needle at all, it likely pushed moderate voters paying only marginal attention to the campaign towards Sanders, who spoke like a normal person while Clinton began ascending into what her ally James Carville would later call ‘faculty lounge speak,'” Grim wrote in the newly released book.

He added, “Former President Bill Clinton, surveying the landscape and the ham-handed efforts at identity politics was bereft, lamenting to a longtime friend in the fall of 2016 that Hillary’s campaign ‘could not sell p—- on a troop train.'”

It’s never good hearing that a spouse isn’t supportive of their partner, especially when they’re going after their dreams. We know politics can get very messy with different ideologies and different ways people want to go about it, but this bombshell claim definitely paints a new light on how the Clintons acted during Hillary’s 2016 campaign. (We’re unsure if he had the same sentiments in her other presidential campaigns, but this one comment is quite jarring).

For those who don’t know, Hillary and Bill have been married since 1975 after meeting at Yale. They share one daughter named Chelsea, who was born on Feb 27, 1980.

In 2023, there are many different types of holiday aesthetics to decorate your home with. While many like the more traditional, colorful Christmas vibes, others have gone for more Gothic or minimalist vibes for their home around the holidays. It’s all about what you feel is right for your home for the holidays, but some celebrities are currently under the microscope with their holiday decoration choices. Specifically, many fans and the good people at BuzzFeed have realized that Kim Kardashian’s 2023 Christmas decorations may or may not have been heavily inspired by former US First Lady Melania Trump.

In photos obtained by BuzzFeed Staffer Matt Stopera, the Kardashians star shared a series of photos to her Instagram story, showing how she’s decorated her long hallway with snow-crusted Christmas trees… and that’s it. There are no ornaments, or other decor pieces; it’s all just trees.

While Buzzfeed talked about the similarities between Kardashian’s placement of trees and Melania’s during the time she had all-red trees in the hallway (or the white branches photo op), there’s another instance that truly seals the deal for people.

In case you need a reminder, back in 2017, Melania decorated the Grand Foyer with snow-encrusted trees, almost identical to Kardashian’s. See the photo below:

While she hasn’t confirmed or denied that she took inspiration from Melania, many have also discussed how she has had ties to the Trump family for literal years. So, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility, but it is also good to consider Kardahian’s love for the minimalist side of decorating.

It’s also good to mention how Kardashian wasn’t the only one who was the center of controversy for her decorating, because so was Melania. A recording was leaked of Melania talking to her former aide and Melania and Me author Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, per CNN. Melania famously was recorded saying, “I’m working … my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f*** about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?”

Prince Harry has just won a major legal battle against Mirror Group Newspapers over accusations of phone hacking.

Per NPR, High Court Justice Timothy Fancourt found that phone hacking at at Mirror Group Newspapers was “widespread and habitual” across many years. He ruled that private investigators “were an integral part of the system” to gather information unlawfully on Harry and people in his circle. Fancourt said executives at the papers were aware of the phone hacking and covered it up.

In a statement read by his lawyer outside the court after the verdict was handed down, Harry called the ruling “vindicating and affirming” and suggested that it should be a warning to other publications.

“Today is a great day for truth, as well as accountability,” Harry’s statement read. “I’ve been told that slaying dragons will get you burned. But in light of today’s victory and the importance of doing what is needed for a free and honest press, it is a worthwhile price to pay. The mission continues.”

During the months-long court case, Harry gave a seven hour testimony that revealed many details about his relationship with the media and the turmoil they have caused him throughout his life. Harry was the first senior royal to take the stand for more than 130 years.

In his testimony, Harry gave a nearly 50-page statement for the case. The witness statement obtained by the New York Times, gave royal fans and onlookers a little more knowledge on what’s been going on through Harry’s eyes. And as you can imagine, it was a lot to take in.

If Donald Trump and Marla Maples’ marriage had succeeded, they would be celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. It’s hard to believe that the Dec. 20, 1993, ceremony at New York City’s Plaza Hotel was three decades ago, but many of the guests at the wedding seemed a bit hesitant that this union was a good idea in the first place. 

Maples had already given birth to daughter Tiffany just two months before, and their family was officially complete once she and Donald Trump walked down the aisle. But the shadow of his first wife, Ivana Trump, and his affair with Maples loomed in the background, and even in the couple’s New York Times wedding article. The media outlet couldn’t help but take a dig at the situation, noting back in 1993, “The bride is taking her husband’s name. The bridegroom is keeping his name, The Donald, a legacy from his former wife, Ivana. Ivana Trump is keeping her cool on the ski slopes of Aspen.”

There were A-List Manhattan celebrities in attendance, including Rosie O’Donnell, O.J. Simpson, and Howard Stern — people he no longer counts as friends in 2023. The guests seemed to have no problem giving their opinions to a national newspaper on how long this marriage would last, and the comments were surprisingly snarky. Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous TV host Robin Leach remarked, “This is the equivalent of Westminster Abbey tonight. It’s Charles and Diana all over again. You know what happened with that.” And Stern frankly shared, “It’s probably in bad taste, but I give it four months.”

The bride looked stunning, and the groom dressed in his black-tie finest, but even the average New Yorker was stunned by the nuptials. Passerby Doris Weinstein said incredulously, “They’re getting married?” When she was told by The New York Times that Maples had already given birth to Tiffany and was now Mrs. Trump, Weinstein said not so enthusiastically, “Oh. Well, give them my best.” The dynamic duo would have a tumultuous time together, including her rumored affair with his bodyguard in 1996, and their eventual split in 1997. They were officially divorced by 1999, which was far longer than Stern ever predicted.

When you dig deeper into Marla Maples and Donald Trump’s daughter Tiffany Trump, the more differences you see between her and the rest of her half-siblings. The differences between her and her half-sibling’s Thanksgiving celebrations were staggering, and now, resurfaced reports show that she’s quite different in two major ways: her schooling and what her focus reportedly was.

For her undergraduate degree, she attended her father’s alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology with a concentration in law and society. Then, instead of attending business school like her father and siblings, she attended law school, specifically at Georgetown University Law Center, and graduated in May 2020.

Now, during her time there, many wondered what type of studies she was a part of, and mainly what her focus was. Tiffany’s former college adviser Hocine Fetni, told The Daily Pennsylvanian in 2020 (which was resurfaced by Nicki Swift) that she wrote all about human rights. Specifically, she wrote about the mistreatment of minority groups within the U.S. judicial system.

“[Tiffany] found that … if you are a minority or are really economically disadvantaged, then you’re really going to have less of a chance of really having your rights respected just as a human being and as a U.S. citizen,” Fetni revealed, who was both her advisor and Sociology professor.

“Tiffany is her own person. Every one of us is our own person and we cannot connect our thoughts to a parent or sibling. We love our parents and we care about them, but when it comes to how we approach things, we think differently,” he said. “Some people, though, do follow in their parents’ footsteps even ideologically, but I did not see that from Tiffany.”

While the “Like a Bird” singer’s father was credited for doing a lot for the Black community, most of it has been shown that the highs weren’t because of his administration, it was due to other outside factors, per Vox. And it’s unclear what Tiffany is doing after she graduated, but we’re sure her professor is hoping she’ll make the most of her human rights-based degrees.

With every outing, it seems clearer that Ivanka Trump is ready to fully jump back into her pre-White House era. Whether that consists of her new, sunny and beachy era or going back to her socialite days, this year has made it clear Ivanka is going to do something other than politics for a while. In her latest outing for the Spanish-Parisian fashion designer Maria de la Orden, it’s clear she may already be going back to her socialite persona quicker than anyone thought.

In photos obtained by Page Six, we can see the Trump Card author dining in a private setting with her close pal de la Orden. Held at the Four Seasons in Surfside, quite a few guests were in attendance, including Ivanka, who was seen helping set up the decor, laughing with her pals, and more.

“Maria’s first time bringing her collection to Miami,” an insider told the outlet. “The attendees were local chic Miami women who love fashion and Maria’s style.” (Ivanka arrived in an ensemble of a white, bow-collard blouse and baby-pink slacks.)

This comes merely days after Ivanka was seen with her husband Jared Kushner at the Art Basel in Miami Beach, specifically at Casadonna, where they were seen conversing with a bunch of stars, including supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio. Along with that, people still aren’t over that Ivanka was one of the few guests at Kim Kardashian’s birthday bash in Oct.

While this might come as a shock for many that she’s already back in her socialite era, experts aren’t so shocked. Entertainment attorney Mitra Ahouraian told Business Insider, “Although Ivanka has supported her father, even working for his various companies and in the White House, she has tried to distance herself from him in the aftermath of his presidency.”

Ahouraian added, “I’m not at all surprised that Ivanka has managed to re-engage with her social circles and establish herself as separate and apart from her father.”
